In brief

What makes it notable.

  1. Primary power is on-site: a 200 MW natural gas plant with 72 permitted engines, because Rocky Mountain Power cannot fully serve the campus until about 2031.
  2. A 200 MW on-campus substation is in place, with solar planned. The campus is water-free ambient-air design with direct-to-chip cooling and an annualized PUE of 1.18.
  3. Phase 1 opened in September 2022 and 31 MW of critical IT is online. Phases 2 and 3 of 72 MW each target 2026 toward 175 MW on about 100 acres.
